Dominika Blazkova

 

 

 

 

  

Born in Copenhagen the Danish-Czech soprano was educated in classical voice and drama at the Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, Austria.

She continued her studies at the Opera Studio at the

Temple University in Philadelphia, USA. Hereafter she participated in many master classes with Christa Ludwig, Mitsuko Shirai, Michael Eliassen, Ian Adam and more.

Currently she is working with Maestro Carangelo.

 

Since 1990 she has appeared in a wide range of roles in operas, operettas and musicals such as Carmen, Suor Angelica, Madame Butterfly, Magic Flute, Candide, Fledermaus, Chess, Beauty & the Beast, My Fair Lady and Farinelli. She also has a wide range of songs and Lieder by Schumann, Schubert, Mahler, Berlioz, Bernstein, Dvorak, Weil, Weyse, and Nielsen to name a few.
